40 Years of Socrates Sculpture Park

New York City waterfront park and cultural institution, Socrates Sculpture Park engaged me to develop the visual identity & logo for their 40th anniversary. Rooted in the theme “Begin Again,” the work reimagines the idea of transition—sunset into sunrise— reflecting Socrates Sculpture Park as a place that is always in motion: changing light, changing artists, changing conversations. The visual design abstracts the Socrates logo into a layered visual system that motifs the parks skyline and original brand logo’s I-beam’s figurative representation of the sun.

Applied across the anniversary logo, gala materials, event assets, print, digital, and on-site experiences, the system expands and reconfigures across contexts—capturing Socrates Sculpture Park as it truly is: experimental, evolving, and always becoming.
